It’s In the Bag
Need
a tissue. A “wipey”, or writing pen, Chewing gum,
paper clip or safety pin, Lotion, breath
mint or aspirin? She’s got it in
her bag
A comb, a brush,
a mirror, too, A band-aid, lip
stick – one, maybe two, Cell phone,
pictures, dried-up Super Glue?? It’s all there in
her bag.
Coupons, credit
cards, checks and some cash, Old candy and
cough drops, lint and trash, Pennies, buttons,
packs of crackers all smashed! You’ll find them,
in her bag.
What reassures
may lurk in each zipper and nook, But to save time
to find “it”, just dump and look. A mysterious
wonder – a gal’s pocketbook! For what “ere you
have a need of, it’s in the bag.
